Geologist-Project Due Diligence and Evaluation

This strategic appointment follows the recent Board appointment of Mr Ray Muskett who is overseeing the Company’s technical review of existing assets and potential acquisitions within the Australian gold space, as outlined in the Company’s Renewed Strategy in May1.  Sherifa will work closely with Mr Muskett, overseeing the ongoing technical review of Bastion’s portfolio and potential acquisition targets.

Sherifa is an experienced geologist and geoscientist who holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Ghana and Master of Geoscience from the University of Western Australia.  Sherifa brings to Vita experience in gold, bauxite and lithium, with strong skills in mapping, drilling supervision, QAQC and database management.

Previous experience includes Database and GIS Associate at West African Resources (ASX: WAF) where she managed and maintained geospatial and geological databases to support WAF’s exploration projects.  Prior to this, Sherifa was the Project Geologist at Sahara Natural Resources, Drilling Geologist at Atlantic Lithium and Geologist at Semafo in Burkina Faso.
